The StickPM Experience

StickPM offers an engaging experience for users, combining ease of use with powerful tools for live interaction. Key features include:

• Seamless Streaming

  Start a live broadcast with just one click. Using video options and push-to-talk capabilities to keep the conversation dynamic, ensuring clear communication without interruptions.

  How It Works: Choose your camera and microphone, preview your setup, and start streaming. As you speak, your audio input is managed automatically through push-to-talk functionality or continuous broadcasting, depending on your preferences.

• Interactive Chatroom

  Engage in real-time text chat with other users, where conversations are never dull. With emoji support, whisper messages, and tagged mentions, you can personalize interactions. The upside to interactions there is mini games related only exclusively to chatrooms with games enabled.

  How It Works: Use the chat interface to send messages, reactions, pokes, private whispers, game invites, follow, or block. Emojis can be quickly accessed through the emoji picker, and mentions help you tag specific users easily. Game can have spectators typically if all are members playing, other members may be able to watch if game is listed publicly.

• Customizable User Profiles

  Build a profile that reflects your identity. Customize your avatar, bio, status activity, limit interactions, public visibility, games, and your block list, following, and who followed you. Profiles are the heart of StickPM, giving users control over their public image and interactions within rooms so we take privacy seriously all personal data will not be shared with others only basic information like username, avatar, bio's, and other data.

  How It Works: Click on your avatar to access your profile modal, where you can change your status (Online, Busy, Do Not Disturb), upload a new avatar, and adjust settings to fit your personality. You can also visit your own profile page and edit information while logged in as a member. While some information may not be shown in your chatroom profile all information can be found on profile page.

• Owner and Moderation Tools

  Room owners and moderators can easily manage their rooms with powerful controls. Mute, kick, or ban disruptive users in real time, ensuring that the environment remains respectful and enjoyable for everyone. Extra features room owners have are customizble roles with responsibilities, assign one extra super role or many other customizable roles with assigned colors.

  How It Works: Access the user moderation panel through the user list. Hover over any username to manage their permissions or remove them from the room. It includes interactions clearly marked and seperated for less misrepresented actions.

• Flexible Themes & Layouts

  StickPM allows you to switch between light and dark themes, adjust font sizes, and auto-hide member lists, ensuring the user interface is customizable to your liking. Match your theme to your device or manually adjust the settings at any time.

  How It Works: Use the settings panel to toggle between light and dark modes, adjust chat font sizes, and enable auto-hide for the sidebar to streamline the chat interface.

• VIP Rooms & Virtual Credits

  Upgrade your chatroom experience with VIP status for enhanced features such as increasing & decreasing stream capacity [1-24], high-quality streams and broadcast in HD options for streamers, and other custom room settings. Earn or donate virtual credits to support rooms, show appreciation to broadcasters, or unlock premium features. Vip rooms within a a given grace period will be updated to include a turn/stun server with limited confined access exclusively to vip rooms and or room to improve quality and latency of network quality allowed.

  How It Works: VIP rooms can be created by contributing credits. Users can donate credits to rooms using the “Credit Room” button in the chat interface, which enhances the room's features and helps support the owner.

• Push-to-Talk

  Keep your conversations smooth and free of noise distractions by enabling Push-to-Talk (PTT). This feature lets you speak when ready by holding a key or button, making the chat environment more controlled and less noisy. Push to talk is only avalible to streamers to ensure proper moderation of audio.

  How It Works: Activate push-to-talk by holding the "Caps Lock" or "Alt" key, or use the on-screen button. This ensures that your voice is only transmitted when you are ready to speak, keeping the focus on the conversation. Customizable push to talk will be in settings for members only.

• Real-Time Notifications

  Stay informed with in-app chat notifications. Receive updates when you're mentioned in chat, when you receive a private message, or when new broadcasts start (in chat or in email). Notifications ensure that you never miss important interactions. Some notifcations are only visual within the chatrooms you are currently present in. Others will only be related to your preferences in settings.

  How It Works: Turn notifications on or off using the settings panel or profile page while logged in. Members can control the types of alerts you receive and customize the sound and visual settings for each notification.
